Young Age is a swan song of sorts. A collection of sounds six years in the making: composed, hastily recorded, trashed, forgotten, remembered, reworked and finally released as a cohesive project so as to give myself peace of mind and to allow me to move on to different projects.

I'd been weighted down by this songs for a long time but I couldn't let them go. Is this the album I've always wanted to make? Probably not, but it was still an important process, an image of my creative output during my careless youth: the faceless love songs, uninspired religious doubts, shallow self portraits, dreams, bedroom studios, guitar layers, rigid drum samples, distorted voices, messy reverbs, unwarranted echoes and the worst band name in history.
Goodbye DFP. Goodbye young age.
